Dividing ourselves The Telegraph  •   Kanzi on Wikipedia About Kanzi, the 38-year-old Bonobo using tools, making fire and cooking his meals, using 3.000+ words, but having »learned it by humans«: Learning from others … isn’t everything we can  and do shown to us first, by someone, by some circumstance we observe or is forced on us?  Can we be sure about learning with some humans, about choosing to learn in every instance? About who learns, and what is learned, or dismissed? About judging what is acquired taste or ability developed by ourselves? As with many other facts in life, there is no clear edge.
